Handmade Marathon - Day #1 (Fawn & Rose)

Editor's Note:
Welcome to DAY ONE of the Handmade Marathon.

Say hello to Jess, the artist behind Fawn and Rose, based in the UK.  I picked Fawn and Rose because I loved the simplicity and colours of the pieces. Beautiful statement jewellery.

About Fawn & Rose

Fawn And Rose is an independent jewellery boutique specialising in simple, unique, hand crafted pieces with a focus on geometric design. I started the shop in Spring 2012 after months of procrastinating amongst doodles in untidy sketch books.

I created my first piece for myself after my favourite necklace broke and I was unable to find a replacement that I really loved, one that was versatile and easy to wear. I'd never made jewellery before and I stumbled into it blindly, as with most things in my life! But it turned out great in the end.

I love the entire creative process, from the first twinge of an idea to the preparation for posting to a customer. It's been a great experience so far and I hope there is lots more still to come!
